The attention signs developed by Patera and manufactured in Finland have received very positive feedback from our customers who use scaffolding. Unprotected grey scaffolding parts related to the structure that were left on walkways or in the working area before the introduction of attention signs, which people could bump into or scratch, or on which they could otherwise injure themselves, did not stand out, especially in poorly lit areas such as heating boilers and tanks, which caused negative safety observations. Safety observations became positive after the introduction of attention signs.
Attention signs are used for a variety of purposes; they can be used to increase occupational safety wherever effective and quickly adaptable visibility is required. No wire, cable ties or tape are needed for installation. In contrast, the warning tape typically used is disposable and easily blown away by the wind, and in the forest industry, for example, it is a problem if it gets mixed in wood chips, pulp, cardboard or paper.
