TEAMS webinar 8 a.m.-4 p.m.

The training is intended for persons working as HSE supervisors in construction, installation and annual maintenance projects. The training is also suitable for those working in the aforementioned projects as developers, clients, contractors, project managers, and safety coordinators, or in other safety positions in the company.

The aim of the training is to familiarise the participants with the risks and safety requirements in construction, installation, and annual maintenance projects, as well as with different safety officers and their roles and duties, the role and duties of the HSE supervisor, and the safety of projects and sites. The training combines expert knowledge with a practical approach.

The training is intended for all developers or representatives of a developer, planners of construction and installation work, main implementers, safety coordinators, project directors or managers, safety or occupational health and safety managers, or experts at construction and installation companies.

The training participants receive a comprehensive information and material package on the safety of construction and installation work, as well as on the roles, responsibilities and duties of the safety coordinator and other responsible persons. A certificate of training is issued.

The training is intended for persons who order scaffolding in their work and are thus also responsible for its safety, as well as persons responsible for safety, scaffolding inspectors, the party exercising primary control in the area, and persons supervising occupational or scaffolding safety.

The participants receive a comprehensive information package on current scaffolding safety legislation, scaffolding manufacturers’ operating instructions, and the required scaffolding structure.

In addition, the training covers, among other things, the obligation to verify the qualifications of scaffolders, the use of an external, independent scaffolding inspector, abnormal situations in scaffolding work, and the consideration of emergencies.

As a TEAMS webinar 9 a.m.- 4 p.m.

The training is intended for professionals who work, or will work, as Lifting Supervisors, lifting work supervisors, or in other responsible roles related to lifting operations. Participants are required to have a technical educational background and prior experience in lifting work.

The objective of the training is to ensure that participants are able to plan, lead and supervise lifting operations safely and in compliance with regulations, with particular focus on difficult and demanding lifts.
The content covers, among other things, risks related to lifting operations, responsibilities and obligations, selection of lifting equipment and accessories, inspections, permits required for hazardous lifting operations, and preparation of lifting plans. During the day, participants also become familiar with the roles and qualifications of personnel assisting with lifting operations.

After successfully completing the final examination, participants are awarded a SuoTu®-registered qualification, which is valid for five (5) years. Patera is the owner of the SuoTu® trademark and is authorized to issue official SuoTu® qualifications for Lifting Supervisors. The training is based on up-to-date legislation, practical instruction, and extensive experience in demanding lifting operations. You will receive an internationally recognized qualification, delivered efficiently in a one-day course by experienced experts.

In-person training in Äänekoski

The Occupational Safety and Health Act 738/2002 requires the employer to train employees, including scaffolding inspectors, before introducing new work equipment. The training is intended for persons who inspect scaffolding in their work and are therefore responsible for its safe use.

Our scaffolding inspector training meets the requirements of the Occupational Safety and Health Act 738/2002 and Government Decree 205/2009 on scaffolding inspector training.

Due to the scope and demanding nature of the topic, it is recommended that the participants have several years of experience in practical scaffolding work.

The training covers legislation related to scaffolding safety, scaffolding manufacturers’ operating instructions, and scaffolding construction in accordance with requirements, inspection of structural plans and weather protection, and acting as the client’s representative.

The virtual scaffolding safety training environment developed by Patera is used in the exercises and demonstrations.

After passing the demonstrations and final test, the participants receive a certificate, the Scaffolding Safety Card.
