The attention signs we have developed, which are made in Finland, have received very positive feedback from our customers who use scaffolding. Unprotected grey scaffolding parts related to the structure that were left on walkways or in the working area before the introduction of attention signs, which people could bump into or scratch, or on which they could otherwise injure themselves, did not stand out, especially in poorly lit areas such as heating boilers and tanks, which caused negative safety observations. Safety observations became positive after the introduction of attention signs.
Attention signs are used for a variety of purposes; they can be used to improve occupational safety wherever efficient and quickly adaptable visibility is required. Reflective attention signs are also available. Attention signs are quick to install, remove and reuse, and have a quick fastening with both Velcro and magnet – no wire, cable ties or tape needed for installation. Instead, the warning tape typically used is disposable and easily blown away by the wind, and in the forest industry, for example, it is a problem if it gets mixed in wood chips, pulp, cardboard or paper.
