Online orientation for scaffolders
Effective online orientation
The 30-minute online orientation ensures that only skilled and competent scaffolders work in your area.
According to Section 8 of the Occupational Safety and Health Act 738/2002, the project supervisor, which is the party exercising primary control over the area, must ensure that the scaffolders working on the site are qualified and have been familiarised with their work. If the main user fails to fulfil their duty of care, they are guilty of an occupational safety violation in the event of an accident. Patera’s online orientation ensures that you, as the main implementer, have a written certificate verifying the person’s competence. Training improves occupational safety at your site and reduces the risk of accidents.
The online orientation covers the requirements for fall protection equipment, initial preparations before scaffolding work, marking off the area, safe working, scaffolding construction in accordance with requirements, commissioning and inspection of scaffolding, taking external persons and emergencies into consideration, and how to act in special situations. The orientation ends with a test that must be passed. The online orientation is only based on up-to-date, verified information on scaffolding requirements and safety, and is available in eight languages.
